Christmas Star Quilt

This quilt was made in 1994 by the late Judy Hopkins, a prolific quilt maker, teacher, and quilt book author. It appeared in two of Judy's books, "Down the Rotary Road" and "101 Rotary Cut Quilts."
This sparkling holiday quilt features a large assortment of red and green prints. The striped inner border is a surprising - but pleasing - addition. The quilt was hand quilted by Miss Emma Smucker in gold thread, with 9/10 even stitches per inch. It is in excellent condition - never washed - although the edge of the binding shows a very slight amount of color loss. The quilt has a hanging sleeve with Judy's label. This quilt has been carefully stored in a smoke-free home.
